But stock market reaction today seems to confirm my gut feeling for AerCap:
It feels like they always hold a pretty decent hand in these spots: either insured, or liability is for another party.
737 Max is only 4% of net book value at end of Q3 23 (but it is 33% of their airplanes on order)
Wouldn't be surprised if this is actually good for AerCap because of extra pressure on airplane supply (planes grounded, new production slowed down...)
